About this Qualification

PSP50716 Diploma of Fraud Control is completed alongside PSP50416 Diploma of Government Investigations, so you finish with two qualifications.

It covers the skills for people responsible for coordinating and conducting fraud prevention and detection in a government environment. You’ll learn to conduct fraud risk assessments, develop fraud control plans, implement fraud control activities and coordinate fraud information systems.

Who this course suits

This course suits you if you:

• are enrolling in PSP50416 Diploma of Government Investigations and work with fraud risk
• coordinate fraud control in a government agency
• want to lead fraud prevention and detection activities

How your course runs

You complete the PSP50416 Diploma of Government Investigations stages (6 weeks of self-paced online knowledge assessments, 5 days of face-to-face classes, then self-paced online learning), plus:

• an extra 3 days of face-to-face classes in a virtual classroom through Microsoft Teams
• additional self-paced online learning for the fraud control units

You have up to 12 months from enrolment to complete both qualifications.

Who can apply

Entry requirements: Enrol in PSP50416 Diploma of Government Investigations, or hold it already.

Open to Australian citizens and permanent residents living in Australia. Please send proof of citizenship or residency when you apply. AFSI is not a CRICOS provider, so we can’t enrol international students.

What you will achieve

When you successfully complete all 11 units, you’ll receive the nationally recognised PSP50716 Diploma of Fraud Control, together with PSP50416 Diploma of Government Investigations. If you only complete some units, you’ll receive a Statement of Attainment for the units you complete.

• Receive your acceptance and invoice. We confirm your place and send details of your training, fees and obligations.
• Pay your invoice in full. Your enrolment is then confirmed, and you’ll receive access to the learning portal (aXcelerate).
