About this workshop
Ideal for law enforcement, school counsellors, workplace investigators and those dealing with displaced persons and people who have to relate to people impacted, or who may be impacted, by trauma.
Trauma-informed interviewing techniques foster trust and help interviewees feel more comfortable disclosing their experiences, leading to a more comprehensive understanding of the situation, encouraging accurate and detailed information.
Through theory and practical sessions, the three-day intensive workshop is designed to give participants a broad range of skills, techniques, and strategies, to assist them when interviewing people who have experienced trauma.
Upon completing this workshop, participants will receive a Statement of Attendance.
